Job summary

Hillman, headquartered in Cincinnati, seeks an experienced Manager of Finance to own full-cycle finance and accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, tax, and audits. You will lead a small team and serve as the liaison between the local unit and Corporate Finance, aligning reporting, controls, and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with FP&A exposure
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and audit processes
• Experience with external audits
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts for the business unit
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and communicate drivers to leadership
• Develop financial models to support planning, pricing decisions, and ROI analysis
• Analyze revenue, margin, and expenses to identify risks and opportunities
• Manage AR, AP, GL, and month-/year-end close processes
• Coordinate with Corporate Finance and external auditors on tax filings and audits
• Provide financial insights and variance analysis to operatinal leaders
• Mentor and develop a team of 3–4 finance professionals
• Prepare board-level and executive reporting packages
