ABOUT BIG WATT DIGITAL
Big Watt Digital is a mission-critical infrastructure platform developing and operating next-generation, high-density data center campuses built for the demands of AI and advanced digital workloads. Our model brings together large-scale power, digital infrastructure, development execution, and operational discipline to deliver speed, certainty, and scalability.
WHY BIG WATT DIGITAL:
We are building at the intersection of energy, data centers, AI infrastructure, and large-scale development—where execution matters.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Big Watt Digital is building the infrastructure required to power the next generation of AI—combining behind-the-meter power generation with large-scale data center development. Our business operates at the intersection of energy, infrastructure and capital markets. With a growing portfolio of large-scale development projects, significant capital commitments and an expanding operating platform, disciplined financial planning and capital allocation are central to how we scale.
We are looking for a Finance Manager, Enterprise FP&A to help build the financial planning and analytical capabilities of a rapidly scaling infrastructure company. This is a highly visible, hands-on role connecting project economics, financing decisions and operating performance to enterprise profitability, liquidity and long-term value creation.
You will partner closely with senior Finance leadership, Treasury, Accounting and business finance teams to develop integrated financial models, support critical investment decisions and deliver executive-level financial insights. You will also help build an AI-native FP&A function, influencing the systems, data and automation that enable Finance to scale.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Drive Enterprise Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Build and maintain integrated enterprise financial models spanning income statements, balance sheets and cash flows.
- Consolidate forecasts across power generation, data center development, corporate operations and financing activities.
- Support annual operating plans, long-range planning, rolling forecasts and scenario analysis.
- Translate project milestones, capital commitments, customer contracts and financing assumptions into enterprise financial projections.
Deliver Financial Insights and Capital Discipline
- Analyze revenue, EBITDA, capital expenditures, cash flow, liquidity and returns on invested capital.
- Evaluate financial implications of project timing, capital allocation, funding constraints and operating performance.
- Identify forecast risks, challenge assumptions and recommend actions to improve financial outcomes.
- Develop executive-ready analysis that connects detailed business drivers to enterprise performance and valuation.
Partner Across Treasury, Accounting and Capital Markets
- Work with Treasury to integrate debt and equity financing, liquidity requirements, interest expense and capital structure assumptions into financial forecasts.
- Partner with Accounting to reconcile forecasts with actual results, financial statements and consolidation requirements.
- Support fundraising, investor materials, Board reporting and public-company readiness through rigorous financial analysis.
- Translate complex financing arrangements and accounting considerations into clear financial models and management insights.
Build an AI-Native FP&A Platform
- Help design scalable financial planning, reporting and performance management processes.
- Leverage AI, automation and advanced analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, analytical depth and execution speed.
- Partner with Finance and Technology teams to shape planning systems, financial data architecture and enterprise reporting capabilities.
- Establish consistent financial definitions, planning assumptions and reporting standards across the organization.
Operate as a Strategic Finance Partner
- Partner with business finance leaders to connect project-level economics to consolidated enterprise performance.
- Prepare financial analyses and narratives for senior executives, the CFO and Board of Directors.
- Independently own complex analytical workstreams, resolve ambiguity and drive cross-functional deliverables.
- Balance analytical rigor and financial discipline with the pace and ownership required in a startup.
THE PERSON WHO WILL THRIVE HERE
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance or investment-related roles.
- Strong expertise in integrated three-statement modeling, forecasting, cash flow analysis and financial valuation.
- Working knowledge of Treasury, Capital Markets and Accounting, including financing structures, liquidity and financial reporting.
- Experience in infrastructure, energy, data centers, technology or other capital-intensive industries is highly valued.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Strong interest in AI-native finance, automation, financial systems and data analytics.
- Exceptional analytical rigor, commercial judgment and ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- Builder mindset with the ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity and execute at startup speed.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related field; MBA, CPA or CFA is a plus.
You understand that great FP&A goes beyond reporting results. It connects business decisions, capital requirements and financial outcomes to help leadership make better decisions.
At Big Watt Digital, Finance belongs upstream of the decision—not downstream of the transaction.
