Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, located in Towson, MD, seeks a Finance Manager, Engineering – NA/EMEA Pro Electrified Design Center. You will evaluate the financial impact of new programs and drive prioritization based on ROI and resource use, partnering across Brand and Center teams to align on budgets and schedules.

You will manage the annual plan, forecasts, and multi-year plans, delivering insights that guide engineering ROI, CAPEX, and development costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years of relevant financial experience.
• Working knowledge of ERPs, BAR, HFM, and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial potential of new programs using financial models to analyze payback/returns.
• Support Engineering rhythms with analysis and insights for NA/EMEA Pro Electrified Design Center.
• Manage deliverables for annual operating plan, forecasts, reviews, and 3-year plan.
• Act as Design Center finance liaison with Tools & Outdoor FP&A, Brand Finance, and GSC Finance.
• Partner with Brand Team and Design Center Leader on ad-hoc requests and projects.
• Develop new financial processes to improve transparency around ROI and finance efficiency.
• Provide feedback to ensure projects are financially viable with accurate data.
• Provide insights to SG&A and CAPEX for investments.

The Job

• Evaluate financial potential of new programs (NPD, Productivity, GSC Initiatives, etc.) using financial models to analyze payback/returns and drive prioritization based on investments and current resource utilization.
• Support Engineering rhythms by performing analysis and delivering insights specific to the NA/EMEA Pro Electrified Design Center which helps ensure projects are delivered on time, on quality, and on budget.
• Manage deliverables in support of key financial rhythms including the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, monthly business reviews, 3-year strategic plan, and executive meetings.
• Act as a Design Center finance liaison with Tools & Outdoor FP&A, Brand Finance and GSC Finance.
• Partner with Brand Team & Design Center Leader on ad‑hoc requests and special projects.
• Help us transform by developing new financial processes to improve transparency around Engineering ROI while also driving efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
• Provide critical feedback throughout the project/initiative planning processes to ensure projects are financially viable (accurate & complete business cases), supportive of strategic goals, and modeled with accurate financial data.
• Provide project‑level insights to SG&A (Development Costs), especially around resourcing and indirect spend within Pro‑Electrified Products.
• Provide insights to CAPEX (NPD Tooling, R&D, etc.) for investments.

The Person

• High business acumen and solid analytical & problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize across multiple deliverables, project manage initiatives & develop new financial processes.
• Strong executive communication/presentation skills & ability to work cross‑functionally.
• 5+ Years of Relevant Financial Experience & Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• A Working Knowledge of ERPs, Financial Reporting Systems (BA&R, HFM) and PowerBI.

The Salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00
