Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Towson, MD is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to join onsite and help align IT solutions with business initiatives. You’ll run business analyses, translate requirements, and coordinate with Architects, Developers, and users to define milestones and budgets.

You’ll validate deliverables through UAT, develop user guides and training, and support risk and lifecycle activities across engineering, CRM, and infrastructure domains.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience, or Graduate degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of system development methodology, project management, system architecture and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or other requirements management tools.
  • Knowledge of application and system integration methods and computing environments.
  • Functional knowledge of Windchill/Catia (engineering systems).
  • CRM/Digital Systems like Salesforce or CMS, PIM capabilities supporting websites.
  • Knowledge of network & infrastructure standards; data centers, wireless, network security, printers.
  • Ability to assist in troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with business users to define and analyze problems and figure out the most suitable technical, application or configuration solutions
  • Defines project requirements by identifying milestones, phases, and elements; forms project teams; establishes budgets
  • Translates business requirements into functional/technical specs with Architects and Developers
  • Validates that business and technical requirements are met during delivery
  • Oversees UAT activities to ensure requirements are met
  • Creates, reviews and delivers end-user documentation and training for accuracy

The Job:

As a Business Relationship Manager, you’ll be part of our team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to:

Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives

Works closely with business users to define and analyze problems and figure out the most suitable technical, application or configuration solutions

Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project teams; establishing project budgets

Works with Architects and Developers to translate business requirements into functional / technical specs

Validates business and technical requirements are met during the project delivery process

Overes user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure business and system requirements are met

Assists both innovation and strategy development with subject matter expertise, when appropriate

Creates, reviews and delivers end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, training materials) and training for accuracy

Works with business and IT teams to identify and track risk
Works with IT teams on equipment lifecycle refreshes

The Salary range for this position is $110,600.00 - $178,000.00

This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
