Job description

Pacific International has been exclusively retained by a global manufacturing organization undergoing significant transformation and growth.

As part of this evolution, the company is building out its finance and data analytics capabilities. This newly created role will play a critical part in driving financial insights, improving business performance, and enabling more data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The Finance Manager, Data & Analytics will partner closely with finance, commercial, and operational leadership, bringing strong financial acumen, advanced analytics, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands‑on level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help develop and lead financial analytics frameworks, tools, and reporting capabilities across the organization
  • Partner with finance, commercial, and operational leadership to provide data-driven insights that support business strategy and decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, margin, and overall business performance through financial and operational analysis
  • Analyze financial performance, business trends, customer data, and operational metrics to identify key drivers and opportunities
  • Build scalable financial models, dashboards, and analytics to improve speed, accuracy, and transparency
  • Translate large and complex data sets into meaningful insights and recommendations for senior leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, sales, and other business functions to align financial insights with business objectives
  • Establish KPIs and reporting to track business performance and drive accountability
  • Support finance transformation and data analytics initiatives, challenging legacy processes and embedding best-in-class capabilities
  • Help build and develop analytics processes, tools, and infrastructure as the function evolves
Key Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, data analytics, commercial finance, strategy, or related fields within manufacturing, industrial, or adjacent sectors
  • Strong finance background with demonstrated experience using data and analytics to drive business decisions
  • Proven experience developing financial models, reporting frameworks, dashboards, or analytical capabilities
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to translate financial and operational data into actionable business insights
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to influence decisions and outcomes
  • Experience identifying opportunities for margin improvement, profitability, and business performance optimization
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial systems, and data analytics or business intelligence platforms
  • Track record of success in high‑growth, fast‑paced, or transformational environments
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels with a hands‑on mindset
  • Prior leadership experience or clear potential to build and lead a team
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
