Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, pension accounting, benefits finance, compensation, or related area.
• Experience managing pension plans, 401(k) plans, and retirement plan compliance activities.
• Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS, DOL, and PBGC regulations.
• Experience with actuaries, auditors, trustees, and third-party administrators.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration of Nexstar's retirement programs (pension and 401(k)).
• Collaborate with actuaries, auditors, trustees, recordkeepers, and administrators.
• Ensure plan compliance with IRS/DOL/ERISA/PBGC regulations.
• Prepare Retirement Committee materials and manage meeting schedules.
