Job summary

General Motors in Mountain View, CA, seeks a Manager, Finance – Software and Services to lead financial planning and strategy for AI, cloud, and digital product initiatives.

You will build models, manage cloud budgets across Azure, AWS, and GCP, and guide the finance analytics team to enable disciplined growth and sound capital decisions.

Hybrid work arrangement with on-site collaboration in Mountain View/Sunnyvale is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, ideally in technology, cloud, or AI-focused environments.
• 3+ years of people management, with a track record of developing talent and driving team performance.
• Strong understanding of cloud economics, SaaS models, and AI business valuation.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills – able to translate complex financial insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for GM’s AI organization.
• Own cloud budget across Azure, AWS and GCP and on‑prem infrastructure; drive cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support AI-driven business cases and strategic decision-making.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to meet AI ROI targets.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing finance analytics team.
