Job summary

The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations at our California resort, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role offers a path to senior leadership and requires a proactive, growth-oriented professional who can learn and expand responsibilities. You will supervise financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, reinforce internal controls, and provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in finance with at least 3 years in hospitality finance roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and analysis of financial reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Assist Group Director of Finance with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow, and long-term financial planning.
• Ensure strong internal controls to safeguard assets and detect discrepancies.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management based on analysis and projections.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work in a remote location.
