SkyLearn is seeking a Part-Time Finance Manager to join our team!

At SkyLearn, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive the business forward. We’re looking for a skilled financial specialist to oversee multiple QuickBooks files, maintain accurate transaction records, and ensure smooth financial operations.

This is a part-time, remote position, ideally scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, totaling 22-25 hours per week. The hours are flexible, generally between 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. We celebrate success and recognize hard work.

About You:

• You are obsessed with accuracy—typos and rounding errors are your nightmares.
• You are independent and proactive, capable of completing tasks with minimal assistance.
• You thrive in a spreadsheet environment, possibly enjoying color-coding spreadsheets.
• You are deadline-driven and remain calm under pressure.
• You understand that "reconciliation" applies to bank accounts as well as relationships.

About the Role:

• You will handle complex reports, monitor commissions, manage multiple bank accounts, and preempt errors.
• You will coordinate financial activities to ensure harmony and accuracy, with an eye for detailed, organized reports.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update spreadsheets.
• Reconcile bank and credit card balances.
• Calculate weekly sales commissions.
• Process payroll efficiently.
• Prepare regular financial reports for leadership.
• Coordinate with CPAs for tax and financial reporting across states.
• File reports, sales taxes, and 1099s.
• Oversee vendor payments and expenses.
• Track expenses meticulously.
• Ensure smooth behind-the-scenes financial operations.

Tools, Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, Excel/Google Sheets, TriNet, and Gusto.
• Integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Reliable internet, functioning computer, and webcam are essential.
• Experience working remotely is preferred.
