Job summary

The Ford Store Morgan Hill is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee finance and insurance operations, assist customers with financing, protection products, and required sales documentation.

You will structure and finalize deals, obtain lender approvals, verify documents, and maintain compliance with dealership and legal requirements while supporting overall sales profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive finance manager or automotive sales management experience required.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Knowledge of finance, compliance, and dealership sales processes.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Present financing options, extended service contracts, GAP coverage and other finance products to customers.
  • Structure, submit, and finalize finance deals with lenders and finance sources.
  • Obtain lender approvals and ensure accurate financing documentation.
  • Prepare and review contracts, titles, and related paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and lender requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with lenders, manufacturer reps, and vendors.
  • Support inventory protection products and profitability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales to support vehicle sales and dealership operations.
  • Uphold confidentiality and maintain accurate records using DMS/CRM systems.

Finance ManagerJob Purpose:Manage dealership finance and insurance operations while assisting customers with financing, vehicle protection products, and required sales documentation. The Finance Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining compliance with dealership and legal requirements, maximizing dealership profitability, and supporting overall dealership sales operations.Key Responsibilities:Finance & Insurance OperationsPresent financing options, extended service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other finance and insurance products to customersStructure, submit, and finalize finance deals with lending institutions and finance sourcesObtain lender approvals and ensure accurate completion of all financing documentationPrepare, review, and finalize contracts, title documents, lender paperwork, and related sales documentationVerify accuracy of taxes, title information, registration documentation, and deal structureEnsure all required paperwork is completed accurately and timely in accordance with dealership, lender, manufacturer, and legal requirementsMaintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and lender regulations related to finance and insurance transactionsMaintain strong relationships with finance sources, lenders, manufacturer representatives, and vendor partnersAssist with inventory protection products, aftermarket products, and dealership profitability initiativesCustomer Service & Sales SupportDeliver exceptional customer service during all customer interactionsClearly explain financing terms, contracts, products, and available options to customersHandle customer concerns and questions professionally and courteouslySupport customer satisfaction
