Description:

Sewell Wallis is seeking a Finance Manager for a rapidly growing PE property business in Greater Manchester. This diverse and technical role is ideal for an ambitious, qualified (ACA or ACCA) accountant, preferably with practice experience and prior property industry exposure.

Key requirements include experience with large group consolidations involving multiple legal entities, and familiarity with integrating accounts for new acquisitions. The candidate should be technically proficient in IFRS, with a good understanding of Tax, VAT, and CIS returns, and capable of leading annual reporting and audits.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing a team of 3 management accountants and overseeing a group with a turnover of £40m.
2. Onboarding new assets.
3. Handling consolidations and accounting for new legal entities.
4. Presenting monthly and quarterly management accounts.
5. Leading annual reporting and audits.
6. Managing treasury functions and cash forecasting with the treasury team.
7. Overseeing debt management and compliance.

Desired Skills:

1. ACA or ACCA qualified.
2. Practice experience.
3. Experience in property or construction industries.
