Job summary

AccruePartners in Charlotte seeks an experienced FP&A leader to join a growing, PE-backed finance team. You will partner with senior leaders to model EBITDA, cash flow, and ROI, guiding strategic investments and performance initiatives across the enterprise.

You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations, influence decision-making, and help shape financial strategies in a fast-paced environment. This role offers visibility and impact across the organization.

Qualifications

• Progressive FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance experience at Senior Manager or Director level.
• Experience in private equity-backed portfolio companies is strongly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and profitability evaluation skills.
• Experience partnering with business leaders to influence decisions with data.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Partner with senior finance leadership and cross-functional business leaders to provide strategic financial insights that influence enterprise-wide decisions, investments, and growth initiatives.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models focused on EBITDA performance, cash flow forecasting, revenue analysis, profitability, and return on investment.
• Evaluate strategic business investments and transformation initiatives to measure financial impact, value realization, and long-term business performance.
• Drive financial planning and analysis activities, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations that support operational efficiency and enterprise value creation.

A BACKGROUND THAT FITS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Strategic Finance, or Corporate Finance, ideally at the Senior Manager or Director level.
• Experience within a private equity-backed portfolio company strongly preferred, with an understanding of value creation, EBITDA performance, cash flow management, and the financial expectations of PE ownership.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including cash flow forecasting, profitability analysis, revenue modeling, and strategic investment evaluation.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide financial initiatives, partnering with business leaders, and influencing decisions through data-driven insights.
• A foundation in a large, sophisticated finance organization with established FP&A processes, combined with the flexibility to succeed in a faster-paced, less structured environment.
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, moving seamlessly between high-level financial planning and detailed, hands-on analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and take ownership of complex financial challenges.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, actionable business recommendations.
