Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a stable nonprofit in Columbia, MD to recruit a Finance Manager who can eventually advance to a Director of Finance position within a few years. Responsibilities include owning monthly/quarterly financials with P&L, improving processes, and supervising one Accountant while partnering with the Controller on budget and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• MBA or CPA is a plus but not required.
• 4+ years of general accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software; Excel proficiency.
• Nonprofit experience is a plus.

• Support and maintain accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Partner with Controller on financial analysis, budget process, and operational insights.
• Assist with contracts and related accounting oversight, as applicable.
• Help streamline, digitize, and improve accounting workflows and systems.
• Supervise one Accountant.

• CFS is partnering with a repeat client, a stable non profit in the Columbia area. Due to an upcoming retirement, they will be hiring a Finance Manager who can eventually move into a Director of Finance position within 3 years or less.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, hybrid schedule in Columbia, MD
Salary: $95,000-$110,000 depending on experience
