Job summary

NextEra Energy is offering a Finance & Accounting Rotational Development Program in the Florida area. The program starts in August 2027 and includes three 12-month rotations across core finance and accounting functions within corporate centers of excellence and energy facilities.

Rotation associates are full-time and based in the Juno Beach/Jupiter/West Palm Beach area, with a pathway to leadership roles post-graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience: 1+ years.

Responsibilities

• Understand the finance/accounting impact of business transactions and GAAP requirements.
• Demonstrate initiative and meet deadlines related to finance, accounting, forecasting and reporting processes.
• Build relationships across the organization for proper accounting, consolidation and reporting of assigned areas.
• Support internal and external reporting (10-K, 10-Q, management reporting, etc.).
• Comply with all SOX processes.
• Execute special projects (software implementations, Six Sigma, Agile projects, process automation, new accounting standards).
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
