Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking candidates for its Finance Leadership Development Program in Avon Lake, Ohio. This two-year rotational program places participants on multiple finance teams, providing hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, audit, tax and international finance across corporate and business units.

Participants complete three to four rotations, develop relationships with peers and leaders, and receive feedback from the program manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related business field.
1+ years of relevant work experience (internships count) required.

Responsibilities

Work as a partner with business analysts and department analysts or directors to resolve financial related issues.
Contribute to financial analysis, general accounting and cost accounting by practical application.
Gain exposure to domestic and international operations and knowledge of Avient customers and go-to-market strategies.
Contribute in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings, forecasts and the annual budget process.
Contribute in the planning, execution and reporting of financial and operational internal audits.
Interact with Senior Management, build relationships with other employees across the globe and make a difference in Avient’s future success.
Other projects as assigned.
