Now you’re ready to broaden your experience, understand the business from multiple perspectives, and prepare for what comes next. Broan-NuTone’s Finance Leadership Development Program is a multi-year rotational experience designed for high-performing finance professionals ready to accelerate their development and prepare for increasingly complex roles. Over the course of three cross-functional rotations, each approximately 12–14 months, you’ll expand your technical expertise, strengthen your business acumen, develop leadership capabilities, and build relationships with leaders across Broan-NuTone. This is not an entry-level rotational program. It is designed for professionals with meaningful Finance or Accounting experience who want to build breadth across multiple disciplines while contributing to real business priorities.

Your Rotational Experience

Your first rotational assignment will be either Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Manufacturing & Operations Finance. Over the course of the program, additional rotations may include:

  • Commercial Finance
  • Manufacturing & Supply Chain Finance
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Controllership & Accounting
  • Cash Management / Shared Services Finance

Your rotational journey will be purposeful rather than predetermined. Future assignments will consider your experience, demonstrated strengths, development needs, and career interests, balanced with the value creation opportunities of the business. With each rotation, you’ll take on increasing responsibility, develop new capabilities, and gain exposure to different areas of the organization.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities will evolve throughout the program and vary by rotation. You may:

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance management.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build financial models and perform profitability, variance, and KPI analysis.
  • Translate financial information into actionable business insights.
  • Partner with Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, and functional leaders to support decision-making.
  • Gain experience with financial reporting, close activities, reconciliations, controls, and accounting processes.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives focused on growth, productivity, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automate processes, and leverage data, business intelligence, and emerging technologies.
  • Present insights and recommendations to Finance and business leaders.
  • Take on increasing ownership and responsibility as you progress through the program.

Participate in structured check-ins and development conversations to ensure you remain challenged, supported, and progressing toward your goals.

Meaningful Work

Contribute to business priorities from the beginning, with increasing responsibility throughout the program.

What You’ll Build

The program is designed to develop capabilities across three areas: Finance & Technical Expertise, Business Acumen, Leadership Capability.

Business partnership, operational understanding, commercial insights, strategic thinking, decision support, and cross-functional collaboration.

Who We’re Looking For

You may be a strong fit if you are a high-performing Finance professional who:

  • Is curious about how different areas of Finance and the business work together.

  • Can step into unfamiliar situations and quickly build knowledge and relationships.
  • Combines strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into business insights.
  • Wants to strengthen your ability to communicate, influence, and lead.
  • Is motivated by gaining broad experience rather than specializing in a single Finance discipline at this stage of your career.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, FP&A, Operations Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and foundational Finance and Accounting concepts.

Where Could This Take You?

The goal of the Finance Leadership Development Program is not simply to complete three rotations. It is to prepare you for increasingly complex and influential opportunities within Finance. Upon successful completion, you will have developed broad Finance and Accounting expertise, stronger business acumen, expanded leadership capabilities, and relationships across the organization. Depending on your experience, performance, interests, and organizational opportunities, future career paths may include:

  • Senior Financial Analyst
  • Lead Financial Analyst
  • Finance Manager
  • FP&A Manager
  • Operations Finance Manager
  • Commercial Finance Manager
