Job summary

nVent's Finance Leadership Development Rotational Program (FLDP) is a three-year path to develop future finance leaders. Associates rotate through FP&A, Controlling, Internal Audit, and External Reporting, with onboarding in June 2027 and ongoing mentorship.

Locations include Minneapolis, MN and Cleveland, OH, with relocation support and a hybrid work model. Graduating in 2026–2027, you will gain hands-on experience, leadership training, and the chance to grow within a global company.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with graduation between Dec 2026 and Jun 2027.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous internship or work experience in finance or accounting is preferred.
  • Geographic flexibility for relocation during the program and rotations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in three-year rotations across FP&A, Controlling, Internal Audit, and other finance functions.
  • Engage in onboarding, training, mentorship, and leadership development activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain business insights and leadership capabilities.
  • Relocation as needed for rotations and program completion.

Finance Leadership Development Rotational Program 2027 The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a three-year rotational program designed to prepare and develop the next generation of leaders within the finance and accounting organization. FLDP Associates will develop leadership and technical skills through a variety of rotational experiences, formal & informal training, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. Participants with spend 12 months in each rotation at one or more of our U.S.-based locations. This accelerated program will provide associates with rotational experiences through several different facets of the finance and accounting function, while gaining exposure and valuable development within a global organization.

Locations: Geographic flexibility to relocate as necessary both during the program and upon completion of the FLDP program is required. First and subsequent rotation locations may include by are not limited to - Minneapolis, MN (St. Louis Park) and Cleveland, OH (Solon).

Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related degree Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 and available to begin full time employment in June 2027 Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future Geographic flexibility both during and upon completion of the program Previous internship or work experience Strong verbal and written communications skills Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of GAAP Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Proven leadership experience Leadership experience and industry-related internship experience a plus
