Harvard University’s Office of VPAL is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to lead the financial health and planning of VPAL. You will manage accounting services, budgets, and financial reports while guiding staff and cross-functional teams in a hybrid, campus-and-remote environment.

The role focuses on building annual financial plans, reliable projections, and governance for a new university-wide system supporting online learning platforms.

Competenze

• MBA, Master’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience.

Mansioni

• Oversee VPAL budget and accounting functions as a responsible financial steward of VPAL’s and Harvard’s resources.
• Manage, develop, and improve key financial processes, including forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Lead, develop, and coach a small finance team overseeing GL, A/R, A/P, budget and procurement.
• Develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives for financial systems and processes.
• Provide high level analysis of organizational financial drivers and present data clearly to stakeholders.
