Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the build-out of financial and reporting infrastructure for a robotics-enabled automotive services company. You will oversee FP&A, controllership, treasury, compliance, and investor reporting in a high-impact, succession-track role.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, with 10+ years in venture-backed finance, CPA preferred, and proven ability to interact with the Board and CEO while scaling finance operations for rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience in venture- or PE-backed startups.
• Relevant industry experience in hardware, robotics or manufacturing.
• Strong background in FP&A, controllership, treasury, and financial operations.
• Strong foundation in accounting (CPA strongly preferred).
• Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and board reporting.
• Direct interaction with Board-level stakeholders, as well as board reporting and presentation.
