Job summary

Embassy Suites The Woodlands at Hughes Landing, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Assistant Director of Finance to support the hotel’s financial operations. You will oversee accounting functions, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HEI standards.

The role requires a B.S. in Accounting and at least one year of hospitality finance experience, with strong Excel and MS Office skills. On-site work at The Woodlands location with comprehensive HEI benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting and knowledge of hotel financial statements.
• 1 year experience in hotel/hospitality finance.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Finance in directing financial activities and safeguarding assets.
• Monitor budgeting, scheduling, and purchasing control systems to stay within budget.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and HEI standards.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, cash flow, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Identify and train associates; ensure attendance and department performance.
