Job summary

The Woodlands Resort, Curio Collection by HEI Hotels & Resorts in the Houston area is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the financial leadership. You will safeguard assets and prepare reports in line with GAAP and HEI standards.

Responsibilities include posting city ledger payments, reconciling ledgers, processing invoices, and maintaining strong internal controls across purchasing and vendor management. Prior hotel accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to compile facts and figures.
• Experience in hotel accounting operations.
• Proficient PC and calculator use.

Responsibilities

• Sort and verify Night Audit receivables and reconcile banquet checks.
• Post city ledger payments and reconcile accounts.
• Reconcile credit card backups and bill charges.
• Process invoices for payment and maintain vendor logs.
• Maintain Purchase Order log and ensure proper coding.
