Job summary

Quindar is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Finance to build and lead the finance function as the company scales. You will own FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and partner with leadership to shape strategic decisions with clear financial insight.

The role requires hands-on leadership: building models, reviewing spend with leaders, and guiding the Board and investors. Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with audits and fundraising are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership in a high-growth company.
• Experience owning FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and company-wide financial models.
• Experience leading annual financial audits with external audit firms.
• Experience supporting fundraising, Board reporting, and investor diligence.
• Experience with debt financing, credit facilities, venture debt, or other lender-backed financing.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and its link to operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own the company-wide financial model, annual operating plan, forecasts, and long-range planning.
• Maintain forecasts for revenue, expenses, cash, headcount, ARR, backlog, and other metrics.
• Build scenario models for hiring, investments, facilities, contracts, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide visibility into cash runway, burn, capital requirements, and financial impact of major decisions.
• Review pricing models and active margin profiles.
• Continuously improve forecasting accuracy as the company scales.
• Own the financial and operating metrics used by the executive team, investors, and Board.
• Prepare financial analysis and materials for Board meetings, investor updates, fundraising, and strategic planning.
• Translate financial performance into clear insights: what changed, why, and what leadership should do about it.
• Partner with Legal, Contracts, and Operations on revenue recognition and compliance.
• Scale the finance function with processes, systems, and controls.
