Job summary

KNOWiNK, based in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking an experienced Controller / Director of Finance to lead financial operations and reporting. You will own the accounting function—general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial statements—while partnering with the CFO and executive team on budgets and forecasts.

You will build strong controls for audits and regulatory compliance. You will drive strategic finance, oversee payroll, taxes, and multi-state compliance, and mentor a high-performing

Qualifications

5–10 years of progressive finance experience, including public accounting background.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance for public companies.
Experience with month-end close, payroll, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Partner with CFO on monthly, quarterly, annual close and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and tax filings.
Oversee payroll processing and multi-state payroll compliance.
Lead and mentor accounting staff; manage internal controls and audits.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.
