Job summary

BorgWarner is hiring a Finance Supervisor for its new Industrial Solutions hub in Hendersonville, NC. The role partners with the plant leadership to drive controlling, cost accounting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a hands-on manufacturing finance environment.

Responsibilities include monthly close, budget coordination, and providing analyses for management and auditors. The role emphasizes internal controls, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• MBA preferred; CPA/CMA a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in finance/accounting with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• SAP required; OneStream/HFM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the controlling function for the Hendersonville plant, including month-end close, forecasting, and cost management.
• Maintain records per GAAP, SOX, and BorgWarner guidelines; manage reconciliations and journals.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and support budget/LRP processes with cross-functional teams.
• Support capital investment appraisals, program reviews, and business cases.
