Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance for the Cancer Clinical Trials Office. You will lead Medicare Coverage Analyses, clinical trial budgets, and cost assessments for industry-sponsored studies and foundations.

You will ensure billing compliance, reconcile accounts, and collaborate with program directors to monitor start-up timelines and regulatory adherence. Strong communication and analytic skills are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in life science, public health or business admin.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical trial budgeting and negotiations experience.
• ACRP or SOCRA certification within 24 months.
• Working knowledge of regulations for human subject research and CMS guidelines.
• Experience with CTMS and clinical trial IT systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and submit Medicare Coverage Analyses and clinical trial budgets.
• Prepare detailed cost assessments for industry-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies.
• Ensure billing compliance for oncology studies and monitor CMS guidelines.
• Reconcile clinical trial accounts and collaborate with program directors on start-up timelines.
• Interact with faculty, study teams, sponsors, and department offices regularly.
