Job summary

Montefiore Cancer Center seeks a Senior Research Associate to lead the disease group in cancer clinical trials, mentor junior staff, and ensure data accuracy under GCP. The role requires independent function and leadership in trial oversight.

The candidate will manage protocol data, obtain informed consent for non-interventional studies, assist with recruitment, and contribute to protocol development and database improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science or public health.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Medical degree (or foreign equivalent) preferred.
• ACRP or SOCRA certification within 18 months of employment.
• 3 years of work experience required.
• GCP training required.
• Life Sciences or Public Health background preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collection of protocol data and samples, including shipment as required.
• Obtain informed consent for non-interventional studies and manage data compilation.
• Attend clinic as needed to assist with recruitment and administer questionnaires.
• Contribute to development of research protocols and assist with database enhancements.
