Job summary

Montefiore seeks an Assistant Director of Finance to lead the development, coordination and submission of Medicare Coverage Analyses and clinical trial budgets. You will prepare cost assessments for industry-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies, including foundation/grant-supported projects.

You will collaborate with program directors and staff to ensure billing compliance, reconciliation of accounts, and timely deployment of study start-up analyses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in life science, public health, or business administration.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience with clinical trial budget development and negotiations.
• ACRP or SOCRA certification within 24 months of employment.
• Working knowledge of CMS guidelines and government codes related to human subject research.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Directors to oversee clinical research billing compliance.
• Coordinate development, coordination and submission of Medicare Coverage Analyses and trial budgets.
• Reconcile clinical research accounts and monitor start-up timelines with Regulatory Affairs.
