Job summary

FHI 360 is seeking an Associate Director, Finance to support the Health Programs portfolio, including the EpiC project. You will provide financial management across country teams, supervise HQ staff, and assist with award reporting and analysis to meet donor requirements.

You will develop budgets, monitor cash flows, ensure compliance with US Government guidelines, and train staff on financial policies to achieve program goals. Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible accounting, finance and operational management.
• Experience with U.S. Government-funded global awards.
• Experience working with overseas offices within an international organization.
• Knowledge of U.S. Government rules and regulations and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software required.
• Fluent English; additional languages (French/Spanish) a plus.
• Prior NGO experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and provide coaching and guidance.
• Manage award-level financial reporting and analysis.
• Interact with donors and stakeholders on financial management issues.
• Oversee budgets, planning, audits, and financial closeouts.
• Develop and implement revised financial policies and procedures.
