Atomic - Remote Jobs seeks a finance lead for a small holding group spanning three companies. You will oversee the group’s finances, supervise the bookkeeper, and present results to the CEO and investors, ensuring accuracy for tax filings and strategic decisions.

This hybrid role requires coordinating across companies, improving finance processes, and supporting budgets and new ventures. You'll report monthly and quarterly results and help guide cash flow, payables, and receivables in a growing

Formación

• Experience as a finance manager, controller, senior accountant or similar at a small or growing company.
• Financial reports you prepared and presented to owners, a CEO, investors or a board.
• Budgeting or financial planning that fed into real business decisions.
• Experience getting a company's books ready for tax filing.
• Enough month-end close and reconciliation experience to review a bookkeeper's work with confidence.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for each company and the group.
• Present results to the CEO and investors, and answer their questions.
• Review the bookkeeper's work and own the month-end close and reconciliations.
• Get each company ready for tax filing, and keep payroll and sales tax on schedule.
• Track cash, payables and receivables so upcoming needs show up early.
• Build budgets and give a finance view on spending and new initiatives.
• Improve finance processes and controls, and set up the books when a new company joins.
