Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Supervisor for its Industrial business in Lenexa, KS. You will lead a finance team and partner with project and operational leadership to provide strategic financial oversight on EPC projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams, with hands-on involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, project finance, or accounting.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing team members preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and communicate project financial performance to leadership.
• Build partnerships with project teams to drive financial accountability.
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and profit projections.
• Assist with tracking and analysis of change orders and forecast updates.
• Support project managers in project controls and financial procedures.
• Champion continuous improvement in efficiency and reporting.
• Use data and metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and trends.
• Review cash flows, terms, estimates, and change orders for financial risks.
