Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking a Finance IT Specialist in St. Louis to retrieve data sets, build reports, and support the month-end close across Corporate Finance, Divisional Finance, Operations, and IT. The role will also assist with software integrations and acquisitions.

The position is based at the Corporate St. Louis, MO office and is hybrid (not remote). Extended hours may be required for month-end, including weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or Information Systems.
• Minimum of 3 years' IT experience.
• Experience with data extraction and reporting.
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Familiarity with Hyperion, TM1, PowerBI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Extract data, build ad hoc reports, and assist in month-end close.
• Navigate multiple financial systems to mine data for period close and audits.
• Investigate data discrepancies across systems and identify root causes.
• Validate data from source systems using SQL or similar tools.
• Serve as system administrator for select financial apps (user access, roles).
• Support monthly/ semi-annual close and reporting.
• Assist in software implementations and acquisitions; support auditors.
