Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Internal Audit - Finance professional to audit financial and operational processes across the organization. You will help lead audit projects, identify risks, perform testing, and review controls, while supporting transitions for acquisitions and transformations.

The role also involves developing less experienced staff and contributing to department initiatives in analytics, training, DE&I, and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• ~4+ years of internal and/or external audit experience, preferred.
• Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects.
• May contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
• Works on complex projects of large scope.
• Independently receives general guidance on new projects.

Responsibilities

• Audit financial and operational audit projects.
• Assist in leading, managing and executing audits including identifying risks, performing testing and reviewing controls.
• Assist with transitions of controls/processes for acquisitions and business transformations.
• Help develop less experienced staff.
• Assist in risk assessments with business leaders to create the annual audit plan.
• Communicate issues identified in the audit to the business and collaborate on an action plan.
• Lead in department development efforts centered on Data Analytics, Training, DE&I and other areas of impact.
