Cardinal Health is seeking an Internal Audit - Finance professional to oversee financial and operational audits, ensuring policy and regulatory compliance within a dynamic healthcare logistics environment. This role supports risk assessments, testing and control reviews while mentoring junior staff.

The position emphasizes process improvements, data analytics, DEI initiatives and staff development, with open to remote candidates in Eastern and Central time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 4+ years of internal and/or external audit experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Audits financial and operational projects from planning to reporting.
• Lead, manage and execute financial and operational audit projects; identify risks, perform testing, review controls.
• Assist with transition of controls/processes for acquisitions and transformations.
• Mentor less experienced staff.
• Support risk assessments and annual audit planning with business leaders.
• Communicate issues identified and collaborate on action plans.
• Lead in Data Analytics, Training, DEI, and career development efforts.
