Mativ is seeking a Finance Intern for the Munising, Michigan facility. The role supports the Finance/Accounting team, assisting with monthly close, reports, and cost information.

Candidates should be pursuing a Finance or Accounting degree and demonstrate initiative, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ideal interns will have proficiency in Microsoft Office and a proactive, energetic approach to taking on new projects within a collaborative corporate

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.

Description

Mativ is actively searching for a Finance Intern for the Munising, Michigan facility. Ideal candidates have the attitude, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills to support Mativ's collaborative, high-achievement culture.

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the Finance/Accounting team and local management
  • Analyze, review, and assist in developing mill related reports as required
  • Assist in month-end closing process and provide accurate cost information
  • Assist with preparing commonly run reports through Oracle/ERP systems
  • Assist in financial reporting, accruals, and general ledger data clean-up
Qualifications
Required
  • Must be at least 18 years ofage
  • Working toward a degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle and drive new projects and ideas
