Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to gain hands-on experience in forecasting, budgeting, and earned value management. You will work on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for a career in finance within a global Fortune 500 company.

This paid internship is a 10-week, full-time program designed to develop finance skills, provide mentorship, and offer meaningful, hands-on work that supports program teams and decision making.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Analyze forecasts, provide EACs, and support Earned Value reporting.
• Support monthly budgets, cost projections, and sales/profit estimates.
• Maintain program measurement control systems.
• Create and maintain standard financial reports for the finance team.
• Provide day-to-day support to the program finance team.
• Establish baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (MPM).
