Job summary

Burlington Stores offers a 10-week Finance internship based at our New Jersey corporate headquarters, with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning. You will work side by side with Finance leaders, receiving mentorship and opportunities to present a capstone project to senior leadership.

The program features shadowing days, mentorship, networking with leadership, and a hybrid schedule with two in-office days every other week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Affinity for finance, accounting, data analytics, or related field.
• Ability to manage, analyze, and interpret financial data.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Data‑driven problem‑solver who can build and maintain productive partnerships by driving results.
• Sense of curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace new challenges and learning opportunities.
• Ability to think critically with high attention to detail and listening, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Support management with quarterly, monthly, and weekly reporting.
• Maintain and organize financial data.
• Help prepare presentations and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad-hoc projects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
