Job summary

The La‑Z‑Boy internship in finance supports the Finance Department at our World HQ in Monroe, MI. You will participate in projects that build practical business knowledge and exposure to La‑Z‑Boy’s strategy and processes.

We value teamwork, strong interpersonal and written communication, meticulous organization, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role offers a hybrid schedule with two remote days per week and opportunities to interact with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four‑year Bachelor’s degree program focused on Finance with 2‑3 years completed.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work in a team-based environment as well as individually.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to deal with highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance Department projects and gain practical, hands‑on experience.
• Develop business acumen and knowledge of La‑Z‑Boy’s strategy and processes.
• Collaborate with team members and present back to leaders at season end.
• Travel may be required.
