Job summary

Knight Watch, Inc. in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience with the full monthly accounting cycle, under the supervision of the Controller.

You will work on month-end close, WIP, reconciliations, and general ledger research, applying classroom knowledge to real project-based finances. This on-site, part-time role (15–25 hrs/week) is ideal for students pursuing Accounting or Finance, with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Junior or senior standing preferred.
• Exposure to ERP/accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Month-End Close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in Work in Process (WIP) schedules and cost-to-date inputs.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and explain variances.
