Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree with Accounting/Finance emphasis.
• Advanced computer proficiency and ability to test MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs Month End Close activities including fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations, projects & grants subledger, and month end journal entry preparation.
• Prepares journal entries for schools and programs.
• Prepares audit work papers and completes GAAP & GASB year-end journal entries.
• Develops effective and meaningful financial reports.
• Compiles data for the district’s annual budget submission to governing bodies.
