Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. offers a 12-week Finance Intern program in Cambridge, MA, starting in May. The role requires 40 hours weekly in a hybrid setup and provides exposure to FP&A, forecasting, and analytics as part of our AFDP development track.

You will assist with monthly/quarterly reporting, budgeting and forecasting, process improvements, and presentations for senior finance leadership, under seasoned mentorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's program in business; graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for analysis and reporting.
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and resource planning analyses.
• Identify process improvements and gain team support for changes.
• Create presentations for senior Finance leadership, including a final showcase.
• Conduct industry analyses to inform best practices and update docs.
