Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. offers a Finance Internship as part of its 12-week summer program. You will work with FP&A teams to support monthly and quarterly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

This role provides exposure to corporate finance leadership through mentorship and a final project showcase. Eligible students are pursuing a Bachelor's in business, will graduate between December 2027 and June 2028, and must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in a business-related field and planning to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Have prior internship experience in financial analysis or a related area
• Have proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Be a self-starter, excited about working in an entrepreneurial, quick environment
• Be available to work in a hybrid format from the Akamai Cambridge HQ

Responsibilities

• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting and in-depth customer or product analysis
• Developing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analysis
• Identifying process improvement opportunities and gaining support to implement necessary improvements with the team
• Generating business presentations for senior Finance management, including a final showcase presentation
• Performing industry analyses to develop operational best practices and updating internal documentation
