Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc is seeking a Finance Intern in Atlanta to gain hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting within a large-scale B2B environment.

You will work with the finance team to analyze data, build financial models, and translate insights into actionable recommendations, preparing reports for leadership and cross-functional partners.

This role offers exposure to enterprise systems and a path toward FP&A or accounting careers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Expected graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028.
• Hands-on SQL experience from coursework, projects or internships.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial functions.
• Strong communication and ability to present data-driven insights.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting and financial concepts.
• Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Experience in finance, accounting, or similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by data analysis.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain financial models for ad-hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with finance to improve reporting accuracy.
• Use SQL to query and analyze large datasets.
• Document methodologies and financial processes clearly.
• Provide analytical support in cross-functional projects.
