Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Finance Intern to support the financial planning & analysis team and broader business through reports and analyses. You’ll contribute to operational, sales/marketing, and financial accounting projects, driving process improvements.

This internship emphasizes real tasks and cross-functional learning in a hands-on environment. In this role you will help cost trucks, participate in budgeting and forecasting, and support month-end close with timely

Qualifications

Student pursuing a BA in accounting/finance/business or related field.
Willing to work full-time during summer and part-time during the school year.
Strong verbal and written communication; good organizational skills; basic MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Assignment of tasks that support the business through finance processes.
Support costing of trucks and preparation of month-end reporting.
Assist in development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts.
Assist in accurate reporting of new truck bookings.
Assist in maintaining scheduling room boards/tags.
Perform monthly reporting and data gathering for internal and external reporting.
Improve processes via technology and continuous improvement tools.
Engage with team members following Oshkosh ‘People First’ competences.
Contribute to other projects as directed by your leader.
