Job summary

FORVIA is seeking a Finance Intern for its headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. You will support the department with proper accounting, robust reporting, forecasts, and detailed analyses while performing admin tasks for Program, Acquisition & Product Line teams.

The role emphasizes financial analysis, Excel proficiency, teamwork, and communication. Pursue a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with a minimum 2.8 GPA.

Qualifications

Financial analysis and modeling skills
Proficiency with intermediate Excel
Some prior work experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a team
Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

Develop dashboards and MPMR for programs
Enter data for Acquisition program BP tool
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and modeling
Prepare and publish awards books for new business awards
Generate reclass journal entries to correct WBS errors
Create WBS numbers for Acquisition/Development programs
Administer the ACA spending control process
Support analysis of actual spending and open commits
Data analysis and troubleshooting
Support special projects as assigned
Suggest continuous improvement ideas for efficiency and cost reduction
Share best practices across the organization and site
