Job summary

Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) is seeking a Controlling Intern at its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. The role supports the Financial Analyst in the preparation of monthly financial reports, as well as assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process.

This position will also assist with various projects to provide financial support and analysis. The PCNA Controlling team is responsible for preparing and reporting accurate financial performance information and directs the annual

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close process including preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Assist with Forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Create and maintain monthly analysis reports for assigned areas.
• Track accruals during month end close.
• Collaborate with department managers to provide financial support and analysis.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as assigned.
• Learn and utilize financial software and tools as needed.
