Job summary

Stryker offers a Finance or Accounting internship opportunity that goes beyond observation. You will contribute to financial planning, analysis and reporting while receiving mentorship from leaders in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.

You'll gain hands-on experience with ERP systems and Excel, help prepare accounting statements, support budgeting processes, and participate in monthly closes across teams nationwide.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field and must remain enrolled after internship.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (verified at hire).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze accounting statements and reports to assist in preparing financial statements.
• Support teams in developing and improving finance and accounting processes.
• Build ad-hoc templates and leverage ERP systems and Excel to automate and optimize reporting.
• Coordinate with departments on projections and budgets and communicate variances.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and participate in monthly close processes and reporting.
• Assist with development and maintenance of annual budgets.
• Collaborate with Finance interns nationwide on a case study project.
