Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements for PCBS and subsidiaries.
• Support month- and quarter-end close procedures.
• Aid internal audit functions and regulatory reporting.
• Help prepare work papers for corporate audits by public accounting firms.
• Assist with lease administration oversight and compliance reporting.
• Perform invoice entry and verify pricing and coding accuracy.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Other duties as assigned.

FINANCE INTERN

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time/Part-Time, Hourly

LOCATION: Sacramento, CA

WAGE SCALE: $20.00-$22.00

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in the preparation of financial statements for PCBS and related subsidiaries.
• Assist with month- and quarter-end close procedures
• Internal Audit support
• Assistance in preparing work papers and analyses for the corporate audit performed by public accounting firm
• Assist in regulatory and compliance reporting
• Assist with lease administration oversight
• Perform inquiry and posting of invoices, auditing quantity and pricing for accuracy
• Verify all invoice coding is accurate for payment processing
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled and taking classes towards an Associate or Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting/Finance or a recent graduate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers and managers.
• Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge on the usage of PC, Printers, Digital Copier
