OnePay seeks a Finance Intern to join the team and assist with financial planning, analysis, and operations initiatives. You\'ll analyze data, support reporting and forecasting, and help evaluate business decisions.

The role immerses you in data-driven decision making to drive actionable outcomes for customers. You will work with FP&A, accounting, and treasury partners, build models, support month-end close, and participate in budget reviews and investor reporting in a fast-moving fintech

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with expected Fall 2027/Spring 2028 graduation in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Preferably has completed at least one internship or relevant project experience.
• Available for full-time, 8-week program June 21–August 13, 2027, in New York City.
• You leverage AI daily in analyses and model building.

The Role

As a Finance Intern at OnePay, you’ll work alongside the Finance team and cross-functional partners to support financial planning, analysis, and operations initiatives. You’ll contribute to active projects by analyzing financial data, supporting reporting and forecasting efforts, and helping evaluate business decisions. On the Finance team we immerse ourselves in the data to get the facts, then partner with the Business to drive direct action for our customers.

• Team Integration: You'll be paired with the Finance team and work alongside FP&A, Accounting, and Treasury partners on day-to-day deliverables, gaining exposure to how a fast-moving fintech manages its books and plans ahead.
• Real-World Projects: You'll build and maintain financial models, assist with month-end close and variance analysis, and help prepare materials used in budget reviews and investor reporting. All of this is to drive action, everything we do must pass the “so what” test.
• Skill Building & Career Growth: Throughout the internship, you’ll attend workshops focused on technical skills, resume building, interview prep, and professional development. You’ll also have the chance to engage with company leadership during networking events.
• Mentorship: Receive guidance and feedback from your manager, as well as a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate your internship experience, ensuring continuous learning and growth.

You Bring

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree: You’re a current student expected to graduate in the Fall 2027/Spring of 2028 majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or have significant extra curricular experience related to Finance) .
• Prior Experience: You've completed at least one previous internship, or have built substantial personal or academic projects you're excited to talk through.
• Availability: This is a full-time, 8-week program running June 21 - August 13, 2027. You are available to work in our New York City office at least 3-4 days a week throughout the entire program.
• AI Native: You use AI daily in your work – Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. whatever best fits the task. Your default for analyses and model building is to use AI from the start. You understand AI as a tool, where it is stronger and weaker, and how to check/test for accuracy.
• Proactive & Collaborative Attitude: You have an act-like-an-owner mentality, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and enjoy working with others to achieve collective goals.
• Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving Skills: You enjoy tackling complex challenges, analyzing problems, and developing solutions. Clear communication of ideas is one of your strengths.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: You’re a keen listener with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
