Hillphoenix, part of Dover Food Retail, seeks a Finance Intern to support accounting and financial analysis at our Richmond, VA manufacturing site. The internship is project-based within the Finance organization, rotating through disciplines like Accounting, FP&A, and Commercial Reporting.

You will work under guidance with coaching and mentorship, contributing to structured goals and gaining hands-on experience in a corporate finance environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in 4-year Finance or Accounting degree program.
• Completion of Junior Year of College by May 2027.
• Fundamental proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an Finance Intern to support the accounting and finance teams at our manufacturing plants for our Hillphoenix Case division. Our Finance Internships are project-based internships that will rotate projects within the Finance organization.

What You’ll Be Responsible For In This Role

You will be guided by structural goals and objectives and will have a responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects. Your manager will offer coaching, mentoring, and direction. You will be assigned to a technical project in one of the following disciplines:

• Accounting
• Financial Planning & Analysis
• Commercial Reporting

What are the basic qualifications?

• Enrollment in 4-year Finance or Accounting degree program
• Completion of Junior Year of College by May 2027
• Candidate must have fundamental proficiency with Microsoft Office 360 (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

What are the preferred qualifications?

• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, using logic and reason, creative and strategic thinking
• Effective research and communication skills
• Problem solving – being able to solve complex problems effectively and efficiently
