Job summary

Sonic Automotive is seeking a Finance Manager in Pasadena, CA to ensure the dealership hits unit sales quotas and gross objectives daily, monthly, and yearly. The role includes generating additional revenue by selling finance and insurance products to customers.

The F&I Manager will forecast vehicle needs, secure approvals from finance sources, and coordinate with sales staff to optimize profitability while maintaining compliance and accuracy in all documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Finance and Insurance Manager in an automotive dealership.
• Strong knowledge of financing options, lending practices, and insurance products.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple transactions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must pass pre-employment testing (background, MVR, drug test).

Responsibilities

• Make a monthly projection of the vehicle requirements by department for the next 90 days.
• Forecast monthly and yearly unit sales, gross profit objectives, and departmental profits.
• Sell financing and other F&I products to customers.
• Sell Extended Warranties and other aftermarket items.
• Maintain relationships with finance sources and request approvals for deals.
• Review and coordinate paperwork with finance sources and sales staff.
